Though no one of the items we have noticed in connection with varying is probably in itself conclusive, yet when we consider all of them in their interconnections we shall probably be safe enough in concluding that Shakspere studied Copia as his textbook on varying. But even if he acquired his technical knowledge in some other way, still he had it.
